CommuniTree Festival 2025

CommuniTree Festival 2025 brought Nottingham’s communities together through an exciting programme of global music, creative workshops and inclusive events across multiple venues. From the “Sounds of the City” evening at the Squire Performing Arts Centre to daytime creative workshops and the “Music in the Park” finale at Wollaton Hall, the festival celebrated cultural diversity and togetherness through performance, participation and shared experience. Audiences enjoyed everything from West African kora and percussion to Latin rhythms, spoken word and international ensembles, reflecting the rich cultural influences that shape the city.

Beyond the stage, CommuniTree Festival 2025 created spaces where people could take part, not just watch. Families and individuals of all ages engaged in hands-on activities including drumming, dance, crafts and intercultural workshops, alongside food, marketplace stalls and community-led experiences. The festival’s ethos centred on accessibility and belonging, offering affordable entry and welcoming people from all backgrounds into a shared creative environment. More than a series of events, CommuniTree continues to grow as a platform for connection, wellbeing and cultural exchange in Nottingham, bringing people together through rhythm, creativity and community spirit.
