Concerts at Nottingham Castle

What a wonderful afternoon of music and singing at Nottingham Castle today as part of Black History Month, in association with CommuniTree Festival.

We were delighted to welcome Bruce Ncube, who led two workshops sharing Zimbabwean songs, harmonies and rhythms, bringing people together through the joy of singing.

The afternoon finished with a special performance featuring Bruce alongside guitarist Will Sherratt, joined by participants from the workshops, sharing the songs they had learned together.

A lovely celebration of Zimbabwean music, culture and the connections we make through singing together.

A huge thank you to Bruce and Will, to Nottingham Castle for hosting us, and to everyone who came along, joined in and shared their voices.
